Brookview Golf & Lawn Bowling

Brookview Golf & Lawn Bowling is THE place to go for outdoor fun.  During warmer months, Broovkview is home to the largest lawn bowling green in the state, serving up 8 rinks of fun and the perfect team-building outing. You can reserve single rinks, half the green, or the entire green for your party. Brookview is also known for their 18-hole regulation golf course, a par-3 course and a driving range. In winter, take advantage of their two 18-hole disc golf courses (with discs available to rent) and 4 pub curling rinks. There’s an onsite restaurant, the Three One Six Bar + Grill, and a large outdoor firepit. It’s the perfect spot for groups of all sizes.

Copperwing & Dampfwerk Distilleries

Located directly across the parking lot from one another, these two distinct distilleries offer fun tours for those 21+. At Copperwing, which is known for its vodka, gin and vodskey, tours are conducted Wed – Fri starting at 5 pm. Tours include a spirit tasting, production area tour, explanation of how the spirits are made and a commemorative Copperwing shot glass. Dampfwerk, known for their German-style fruit brandies and herbal liqueurs, offers both a 30-min and a 1-hour tour. Each includes a sampling of 3 products of your choice and 25% off a cocktail in their Cocktail Lounge. Tours are offered Fridays from 4:30 – 7 pm and Saturdays from 2:30 – 7 pm. All tours must be scheduled in advance.

Fired Up Studios

Get crafty with your co-workers and take them on a “clay date” at Fired Up Studios! In this 2-hour class, take a pottery wheel for a spin and get your hands dirty while Fired Up’s instructors help you make your own unique pot. They provide all the tools, buckets and towels you need for the class, and they’ll finish and fire your pot with the glaze of your choice. Perfect for small groups of up to 8 (18+ only please.) Due to their popularity, clay dates should be booked well in advance.

Game Show Battle Rooms

Game Show Battle Rooms is one of the nation’s first game show experiences that everyone can enjoy. Face-off against your coworkers in one of their custom arenas as you play your favorite TV game shows – all facilitated by your own personal game show host! Choose between two different experiences: Classic Showdowns or Primetime Showdowns and play games like Survey Battles (aka Family Feud™) and Spin and Solve (aka Wheel of Fortune™). This is the perfect activity for groups of 6 – 64+.

Park Tavern Bowling & Entertainment Center

The Park Tavern is a retro-cool restaurant, bar and bowling alley that’s been a popular local hangout for over 60 years. They can provide over 20 lanes of bowling, an arcade and darts, along with a full-service restaurant and bar, plus private party rooms for your group. An expansive, covered outdoor patio offers cozy seating and big screen TVs, along with corn hole or bocce ball.

Pavek Museum

Take a walk on the retro side and bring your group to the Pavek Museum. Explore one of the world’s largest and most significant collections of vintage radio and television equipment. Display highlights include an AEG Magnetophon, an RCA Theremin, a Spark Gap Generator, a Philco Mystery Control Radio, and a collection of vintage game consoles. You and your colleagues can produce an old-time radio show or go head-to-head on a quiz show. A unique setting for your next meeting!

Punch Bowl Social

For serious foodertainment and real-world funning, head to Punch Bowl Social. They’re known for their legendary punches, craft beverages (with or without booze), scratch kitchen food that’s fit for foodies and endless gaming options. Bring the team and try your hand at bowling, ping pong, billiards and bocce ball. Other classic games include Giant Scrabble and Giant Jenga, bonzini and foosball. REM5 VR Lab

REM5 VR Lab is Minnesota’s premier virtual reality lab and event space. They offer state-of-the-art VR experiences for all ages and interest levels. Reserve a VR pod or two for small groups (or book the entire space for up to 150), don a Vive Pro VR headset and controllers, and then immerse yourself in a wide variety of virtual worlds. Choose from over 20 games: paint in 3D, swim with whales, have a snowball fight, play a round of golf, battle space pirates and so much more. Play separately or against one another. For the ultimate experience, challenge your teammates to “walk the plank” – a 4″ board seemingly suspended 50 stories in the air! While you play, snack on delicious flatbread pizzas, shareables, and a variety of Minnesota-made beverages, including beer and wine. Marcus West End Cinema

Take your team to the movies! Host your own private screening of the latest releases at the West End Cinema. Watch one of the theater’s current releases or stream content you own or have licensed for private use. You can even bring gaming consoles and play on the big screen!

Skylab Glass Arts

Skylab is a hip new lampworking and glass arts facility in Golden Valley. Get in touch with your artistic side as you use a fix mounted torch to melt and manipulate glass into a desired form. You’ll don a pair of safety glasses, step up to a torch and learn to shape colored glass into beautiful pendants, wine stoppers, drinking straws, and more. Participants get to keep their creations, so you’ll come home with a beautiful handmade souvenir. Perfect for small groups of up to 8.

Sweet Potato Comfort Pie

Sweet Potato Comfort Pie, located in Golden Valley, offers a facilitated pie baking experience that creates connection while opening the doors for deeper compassion and understanding. Groups bake together and learn about the “baketivist” history of the sweet potato comfort pie while exploring issues of cultural foods, identity, resistance, and/or customized topics. Pies can be made to honor someone doing good work in the community, or to give a much-needed lift to someone who is struggling. Pie bakes are also a wonderful way to honor Black culture and convey a spirit of inclusion and affirmation within your organization.

Warehouse Winery

Warehouse Winery is a working winery and eclectic event space. They combine Marquette cold climate grapes with some of the best Northern California grapes to produce cabernet sauvignon, frontenac, syrah, merlot, zinfandel and a wide variety of red blends, as well as a few whites. Join them on the last Wednesday of every month for Wine Down Wednesday! Enjoy tastings of up to 5 wines, plus a glass of your favorite, light appetizers and live entertainment.
