The Trailhead

Close to the city, yet surrounded by the outdoors, the Trailhead is the perfect venue for both indoor and outdoor events, including social and corporate events/retreats, reunions, birthday parties, quinceañeras, bar/bat mitzvahs, memorial services, large group picnics, and themed outdoor events, such as skiing, tubing, mountain biking and more.

Located in the heart of Theodore Wirth Regional Park, it’s the perfect spot for nature lovers. The Trailhead has been featured in Minnesota Bride and was named “one of Minneapolis’ most unique wedding venues” by Lavender Magazine.

The area around the Trailhead features several locations for outdoor ceremonies, from the narrow pathway lined with tall timber columns along the building’s south side to the various green spaces within the park. When it’s time for the reception, head inside the Great Hall, which features Douglas Fir beam structures and ceilings, custom wood tables and two walls of windows with views of bikers flying over jumps in the summer and skiers racing down the ski trails in the winter. An outdoor patio with an adjacent grass lawn is the perfect place for outdoor games to keep your guests entertained.

The park provides the perfect backdrop for photos in any season, offering trails, bridges and skyline views.
