Haggard Barrel Brewing

Haggard is synonymous with gritty, gnarly and well worn. Haggard Barrel is a small, up-and-coming brewery run by two industry veterans. Their brew space may look a little haggard, but their beer is not. Their focus is small batch lagers and barrel aged stouts with a DIY aesthetic.

Current offerings include:

• Schlapp’s – an American lager made with choice barley malt and flaked corn and lightly hopped. 4.3% ABV.
• Amber Waves – a Vienna-style amber lager, created in collaboration with Wooden Ship Brewing. Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malts come together, lightly hopped with Hallertau Mittelfruh. Just enough bite to keep you sipping this liquid bread.
• Glonky – a smoothie-style, mango strawberry sour ale, created in collaboration with Arcola Farms, utilizing kernza, a perennial super grain.

Located in the heart of Skunk Hollow, St. Louis Park’s unofficial libation destination. The brewery is currently open for take-out only, with 2 and 4-packs of beer available for purchase. Beer sampling is available. A small tap room is in the works!
