ShowPlace ICON Theatre

The ShowPlace ICON is THE place to watch a movie. This 16-screen theater features stadium seating and the latest in cinematic digital sight and sound. Splurge on VIP seating and watch your movie in style as you put your feet up and sink back into a luxurious recliner. Guests 21+ can take advantage of special seating sections and enjoy cocktails, craft beers and fresh bites in the Lobby Lounge before or after your movie.

Weekly Specials

  • Free Popcorn Mondays – See a movie on Monday and enjoy a free small popcorn! Limit 1 popcorn per movie ticket.
  • Bargain Tuesdays – All movies are just $5!  All guests, all day, all shows.
  • Date Night Thursdays – Buy 1 adult priced movie ticket, get the second ticket for 1/2 off. Good for all shows 6 pm or later. Not valid with Extras Plus pricing or special events.
  • Weekday Happy Hour – Visit the Lobby Lounge bar, Monday – Friday, 3- 6 pm. Enjoy $5 select beers and $6 featured wines and signature cocktails. No movie ticket required!

Twin Cities Film Fest

Every October, the West End comes alive with movie magic as filmmakers and film afficionados alike descend upon the area for the Twin Cities Film Fest, an 11-day celebration of independent and Minnesota-made film. The ShowPlace ICON Theatre plays host, screening over 120 short and feature-length movies, from documentaries to dramas. Passersby may even spot a celebrity or two!

Movies in the Park

Both St. Louis Park and Golden Valley offer special “Movies in the Park” throughout the year. Perfect for families, these free events feature popular movies shown on a giant inflatable screen. In Golden Valley, movies take place at Brookview Park. In St. Louis Park, movies are shown at the ROC. Bring blankets and chairs and lots of snacks and settle in for an evening of fun!  Movie dates/times will be posted on our Events Calendar.
