Twin Cities Jewish Humor Fest

Celebrate Jewish comedy, humor and chutzpah in all its forms! Each year, the festival brings together thousands of people to enjoy some of the hottest local and national guest artists and comics who represent and reflect the diversity of Jewish culture and provide a Jewish humor lens on the world. It creates a space for laughter, healing, connection and joy in the middle of a Minnesota winter.

This year’s Fest features:

Purim Lunch & Stand Up Comedy with Elise Cole – Celebrate the holiday of Purim with a Shabbat lunch and comedy performance by Elise Cole, an up and coming feature comic at Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis. Her debut album is coming this spring on Helium Comedy Records. $15 members/$18 non-member.  March 3, 11:30 – 1 pm, Capp Center, St. Paul.

25th Anniversary Screening of The Big Lebowski – We don’t roll on Shabbos! Come celebrate “The Dude” and the Coen brothers’ classic with a special 25th anniversary screening of The Big Lebowski (rated R). Join them afterwards for schmoozing, nosh and FREE bowling* & games at Punch Bowl Social. Light snacks provided, additional food and drink available for purchase. *Bowling is first come, first served. $15. A Night of Jewish Storytelling – Inspired by live storytelling shows like The Moth, local community members will share original and true stories that celebrate the absurd and hilarious parts of Jewish experience. This evening will have something for everyone! ASL interpreted. $15 adv/$20 day-of. March 16, 7 – 9 pm, Sabes Center Minneapolis (St. Louis Park).

Queer Comedy Night: Robby Hoffman & Jared Goldstein – Queer Comedy Night is back with some of today’s hottest national standup talent! Enjoy co-headliners Robby Hoffman & Jared Goldstein and stick around for more refreshments and connection following the show. Sponsored by JPride. ASL interpreted/ Ages 18+. $20 adv/$25 day-of.
