Riebe Run 5k
Oct 13 at 8:30 am - 12:00 pm$7
The Riebe Run is a family friendly 5k run/walk, short course, and kids dash to celebrate the memory of Greg Riebe an amazing father, friend, and active participant in the Twin Cities running scene. Greg had arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ARVD) a genetic condition that he did not know he had, he had no signs, no symptoms. Greg’s life was cut short due to ARVD.
This 5k travels along a scenic course on paved city trails, around two lakes, before ending in Wolfe Park. The short course (“almost-a-mile”) allows runners of all ages to experience a fun run and the kids dash is for all little ones. The event starts at 9:00 a.m.with the kids dash.
Join us for any of these runs to remember Greg and become aware of ARVD heart disease. Proceeds from your registration will help Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation change the way cardiovascular disease is prevented, identified and treated in Minnesota and around the world.
